Helping Young People Deal with their Parents' Military Deployment           

With the recent deployement of our local National Guard unit, many of you may know young people whose parent has been deployed for an extended period of time.  Deborah Carlton from Floyd County Extension shares info from the Purdue University Extension Service that is helpful in helping young people deal with stress.  The information on helping children cope with parents deployment to the military may be especially beneficial for those of you with loved ones in the service.

IYI Professional Development Grants help youth workers attend non-IYI conferences, trainings, or workshops that focus on nonprofit management or healthy youth development.
